Palazzo Pants

Exact: T-shirt | Cardigan | Shoes | Sunglasses

Raise your hand if you've never heard of palazzo pants...anyone? If you haven't, it's time to have yourself a palazzo pants party! If you ever felt like trying a new look- let this be it! Palazzo pants are really versatile, depending how you style them. I wore this look to dinner, and couldn't be more comfortable(elastic waistband, anyone?).

Palazzo pants are usually worn in the spring and summer months. These pants usually have a loose, extremely wide leg that flares out. The fabric is usually lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for hot, steamy weather. The trend with palazzo's is usually a louder pattern, that maybe you wouldn't normally go for- but that's the genius- you can have a patterned pant and then pair a basic shirt with it. You get to walk on the wilder side, but still stay true to yourself.
These pants are from Dillard's, but Kohl's has also been stocking the shelves with this cute look. I've even gotten a great pair from Target, proving that style doesn't have a price- if you can wear the clothes, and not let the clothes wear you- putting high and low priced pieces together is easy.

My basic t-shirt is a staple in my closet, and is from Target. The great thing about Target is that they have so many options of this tee, in different colors and sizes but also fits.  The black cardigan, is you guessed it-Target. I'm telling you, next time you run to Target, check out their clothes, it has dramatically improved in recent years.

My shoes are also from Dillard's, but they are a basic espadrille wedge that you can find anywhere! The espadrille detailed heel screams summertime, while the wedge bottom keeps you comfy all day. If you look around, you can even find smaller heeled versions of this shoe. My sunglasses are from Free People, a favorite store of mine for sunnies. They are always on-trend and always affordable- which, isn't that the point? If you are going to be trendy with a few of your closet pieces, you don't want to break the bank on something you might not wear in a few years.

What trends do you want to try, or what trends are you already loving?
