exact: shorts | sunglasses
It's okay to spice up your summer wardrobe, and this outfit proves it...🌶
Red is not a normal color choice in my wardrobe- which is why I'm highlighting it on the blog. Summer is the season to spice it up a bit, and try new things. I found these red printed tasseled shorts at Francesca's, and they are everything you'd want summer shorts to be- easy & breezy. The lightweight fabric is perfect for hot summer days, not to mention that anything printed & tasseled is SO in right now. This silky tank is also from Francesca's and it is the bomb.dot.com! Flowy and lightweight fabric for the win, especially in the hot & humid temps of summer. I kept it simple by leaving it untucked, but I did tuck it in for a picture, to show you how it looks.
Usually in the summer, when the temps drop just a bit at night- I like to keep it warm with this basic summer staple- a jean jacket. My jacket is from the Gap, and has lasted the test of time. If a jean jacket isn't your style, try pairing the outfit with a neutral long cardigan, works just as well. My ruby red sunglasses make the outfit a perfect win, and were on sale at the Loft..I seem to always have the best luck with sunglasses at the Loft or Free People. My flatform sandals, another popular trend this summer, are comfy beyond compare and give me just a little extra height, they are from Target- I couldn't find this exact pair, so I've linked others down below, including this very similar pair.
