Good day to everyone out there! How was every one's weekend? Mine was filled with a boutique clothes party, shopping with a gal pal, general running around & a birthday dinner for my sweet Mother-in-law.
This day was so sweet for so many reasons: I got to celebrate a princess, hang out with my friends that I've made my family, and be a kid again. I mean, what could be better? Oh, and jump on a trampoline with the kiddo's into the late night hours. You could say, I am the "little kids ringleader". Oh, well- ya' gotta' live for the fun! 😀
I started the day in an off the shoulder shirt, to let the sun shine on my shoulders and ended the day in a Lilly Pulitzer "skipper popover". These are so cool, they are UPF 50+, meaning this popover comes quipped with ultraviolet protection! When I'm in Florida, I wear this popover to the beach in the morning for walks while its still cool, and at night when its chilly. The outstanding patterns that Lilly has just adds to the uniqueness of this popover. I live for the bright, happy colors that she always puts out.
I paired the outfit with a pair of straight leg dark wash jeans. I love a dark wash jean because of the slimming effect it has on your legs. I also like to cuff the bottom and have the hem just above my ankle. It is a personal preference but I think it looks flattering on any shape.
SO- MY SANDALS! These lil' gems are from Amazon and were under $20! My super fashionable hairdresser, Elyse from Salon Da'Voe had these on and I had to know where they were from. To my surprise, they were from Amazon and a steal of a deal! They come in a bunch of different colors and the faux fur pom pom is such a flattering compliment to your foot and outfit!
Let's all hope for a beautiful & blessed week! Tonight, I'm meeting my girlfriends for dinner- a guaranteed great time! Byeeee! 💕
